John M. Scott, 67, of 560 South Park Boulevard, Lansing Mich., died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 5 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1971, in the home of his brother, Russell Scott, of Waynesburg.

Mr. Scott had been in Waynesburg to attend the funeral of another brother, Fremont Scott, on Sunday.

He was born February 14, 1904, at Waynesburg, a son of Adam Scott and Harriett Neely (sic) Scott.

He was a retired employe of the General Motors Corporation at Lansing, where he had lived since 1921. Mr. Scott was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lansing.

His wife, Edna Hartman Scott, survives. Also survving (sic) are two sons: John M. Scott Jr., of Lansing and Jack R. Scott, of Leedington Mich.; one daughter, Miss Constance Scott, of Lansing; one brother, Russell Scott, of Waynesburg; and three sisters: Mrs. Mary Stephenson and Mrs. Ewing (Margaret) Gordon, both of Waynesburg, R. D.; and Mrs. Clyde (Myrene) Chislip (sic), of Fairmont, W. Va.

Four brothers and one sister are deceased.

SCOTT - Funeral services for John M. Scott, of 560 South Park Boulevard, Lansing, Mich., who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1971, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. in the Palmer Busch Funeral Home, Lansing, in charge of Rev. James McCollister. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The William W. Garrison Funeral Home, Waynesburg, in charge of local arrangements.
