Age 92, passed away peacefully in St George, Utah after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's disease .
Lee was born in Streator, IL to John & Anna Negray, the middle of 10 children.
She was preceded in death in 1994 by Clarence, her loving husband of 55 years; their son, Brian, in 1950; her parents; and her siblings: Mary, Tillie, George, Ann, Johnnie, Eleanor, Marcie and Ray.
She was a devout Catholic, active in her church, and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hedrick and husband, David Morris, of Santa Fe, NM; her son, Richard Thornton and wife, Sheila, of Hurricane, UT; her sister, Emmy Bundy; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. We will all truly miss her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 20, 2009 at 10 am at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Community followed by interment at Santa Fe Memorial Gardens.
