Mary Deminsky, 78, of 220 E. Livingston Rd., died March 20, 1985 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Streator.

She was born July 11, 1906 in Streator, a daughter of John and Anna (Bavolar) Negray. She and Andrew J. Deminsky were married June 12, 1936 in St. Stephen's Church by the Msgr. Louis Biskupski. He died March 14, 1969.

Surviving are one daughter: Marilyn (William) Cox of Streator; two sons: Terrance Deminsky of Streator and David Deminsky of Tucson, Arizona; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers: George Negray, John J. Negray and Robert R. Negray, all of Streator; six sisters: Matilda (John) Peruba of Streator; Ann (Edward) Felter of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Emma (Donald) Bundy of LaCrescanta, California, Leona (Clarence) Thorton of Tujunga, California, Eleanor (Carlos) Spradling of New Boston, Illinois, and Marcella (Carl) Bute of Ottawa.

A lifetime resident of Streator, she was a member of St. Stephen's Church and St. Ann's Lodge.
