John Brian Thornton, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence G. Thornton of La Crescenta, Calif., former local residents, died at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon in Children's Memorial Hospital, Los Angeles, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held in La Crescenta tomorrow morning and burial will be made in a cemetery there.
The little boy, born in Glendale, Calif., December 12, 1944, is survived by his parents; a brother: Roger, age 8; and his grand parents: Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Negray and Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Thornton, of this city. His mother is the former Leona Negray of this city.
