Hilma Augusta Enberg was born to Swedish immigrant parents: Axel Hjalmar Enberg and Augusta (Andersdotter) Enberg. She grew up in Aitkin Co., Minnesota. Married to John Lidstrom in 1912 at Farm Island, they were blessed with six children: Gerald, Evelyn, Kermit, Sheldon, Audrey, Warren.
She lived in the Aitkin and Crosby areas until after John's death in 1941. The last years of her life were spent in Seattle, Washington, residing with four of her children in a home on Beacon Avenue.
