For to me to live is Christ,
and to die is gain. Phil 1:21

Sheldon grew up in and around Crosby, Minnesota. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Sheldon married Carmen McAliley July 18, 1943, in Aitkin, Minnesota. 1947 the couple and son Dale moved to Seattle, living in various areas of Washington throughout their marriage. They were blessed with seven children.

Shelly understood, and enjoyed working with, electronics. As an electronics technician he made the transition from radio to television -- which had become very popular and demand increased. He owned several businesses, including "Bellevue Square Radio & Television" (Bellevue, WA) and "Shelly's TV" (Hwy 99, Federal Way, WA). 1960's he studied and began a career as a Real Estate agent.

Sheldon accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior with great conviction at a young age. He was always faithful and raised his family in a Christ-centered home. His great joy was attending churches wherever he lived or traveled, enjoying a great "network" of Christian friends throughout his life. His love of music and natural talent for playing many musical instruments allowed him to participate in many church orchestras throughout the years, as well as his personal joy to play and sing songs of his faith and hope in Christ.

With great sadness we had to say "good-bye" for now, though with joy confident knowing he is with Jesus Christ and we shall see him again.
