ALVA – Final services for Robert Perry Arndt, 91, will be 2 P.M. Tuesday in the Wharton Funeral Home Chapel here with Rev. George Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetery.
Arndt died Saturday in an Alva rest home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1873, at Middletown, Pa., and came to Woods County in 1894 where he farmed for many years.
Survivors include four sons, Lawrence, Roland, Robert, and Ralph; four daughters, Mrs. Revenna Rose, Alva; Mrs. Beulah Shafer, Knob Noster, Mo.; Mrs. Helen Eckels, Fort Worth, Tex.; Mrs. Avis Cline, Cañon City, Colo.; a brother, Dave, of Alva; and one sister, Mrs. Ottie Strickland, also of Alva; also 46 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
