ALVA – Orwyn Robert Arndt, 65, Alva, died Saturday in an Alva hospital.
He was born on a farm near Whitehorse on Sept. 18, 1910. He lived and worked on the farm until 1966 when he moved to Alva.
He was a member of the Cora Nazarene Church.
He is survived by three brothers, Lawrence, Roland, and Ralph, all of Alva; two sisters, Mrs. Revenna Rose, and Mrs. Beulah Shafer, both of Alva; two half-sisters, Mrs. Helen Eckels of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Avis Cline, Cañon City, Colo.
Services will be Monday at 10 A.M. at the Wharton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Everett Rust officiating. Burial will be in the White Horse Cemetery west of Alva.
