ALVA – Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvia B. Arndt, 91, who died Wednesday night [January 19, 1966]at a local nursing home, will be at 2 P.M. today in the First Nazarene Church. Rev. George Andrews will officiate with burial in Alva Municipal Cemetery under direction of the Hill Funeral Home.
She was born April 10, 1874, in Paola, Kan., and moved to Woods County about 1900, making her home here since that time.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen Eckels of Fort Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Avis Cline of Cañon City, Colo., and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
