RITES ARE SUNDAY
ALVA – Funeral services for William H. Cummins, 86, of the Faulkner community are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday in the Stiles Funeral Home chapel, Rev. Jack Sanders officiating.
Burial will follow in the Alva Municipal Cemetery. Mr. Cummins died early Thursday after a long illness.
Born in Iowa in 1870, he moved to the Faulkner community in 1899 and lived there until his last illness.
Survivors are four sons: William H., Mulvane, Kans.; Bruce V., Alva; Conrad M., Wendal, Idaho; Bernard C., Mulvane, Kans. Three daughters: Mrs. Luella Rush, Cullison, Kans.; Mrs. Aurelia Hada of Stockton, Calif.; and Mrs. Mabel Parker, Waldron, Kans. Two sisters: Mrs. Myrtle Arndt, Whitehorse; and Mrs. Sylvia Arndt, Alva; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
