Jeffery John Lasher, 82 of 152 S. McKean St., Kittanning died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 27, 1957) in the McGregor-Blose Rest Home in Punxsutawney where he had been a patient for just five days. He was born in Washington Twp. March 24 1875, son of Nicholas and Margaret (Toy) Lasher. He was a blacksmith by trade having retired from work about 10 years ago. He spent the greater part of his life in the Kittanning area. Lasher was a former member of the Kittanning borough council and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Millie (Rimer) Lasher; three sons, Albert T. of Kittanning, W. Harold of Kittanning and Richard of Corsica; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Wales of West Kittanning; a brother, Louis Lasher of Washington Twp., and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Stivason of Cleveland, Ohio; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends- are being received at the Bauer funeral home in Kittanning. Funeral services are to be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Newell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Limestone Cemetery.

Funeral services for Jeffery John Lasher, 152 S. McKean St., Kittanning, who died Wednesday (Nov. 27, 1957) were held Saturday afternoon at Bauer funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Newell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, was in charge of the service. Casket Bears were Albert Lasher, Norman Lasher, James Lasher, Clifford Lasher, Charles Lasher, and George Lewis Jr. Burial was made in Limestone Cemetery.

Note: Jeffrey Lasher's blacksmith shop was at 320 South McKean Street, in Kittanning which is the current location of the Kittanning Bureau of Police. His residence was at 152 South McKean Way.
