Mrs. Margaret Lasher, aged 94 years, four months and 26 days, born near Montgomeryville, Armstrong county, October 10, 1837, widow of Nicholas Lasher, deceased since January 1913, died Friday evening at 6:15 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Rev. and Mrs. R. B. Bowser on West Pike, from illness incident to her advanced age. She was the mother of twelve children, three dying in infancy, and Mrs. E. S. Miller of Verona, deceased March 27, 1931. Eight are now living: J. N. and Lewis L., both of Adrian, Armstrong county; J. J., of Kittanning; James S. of Verona; Mrs. R. B. Bowser, Indiana; Mrs. A. R. Edwards, Vandergrift; Mrs. H. W. McCoy, Newark, Ohio; and Mrs. W. H. Stivason, Wilson, Pa. Thirty-one grand children, forty-one great grandchildren and. one great-great grandchild survive her. The deceased for the past nineteen years had made her home with her children. Few families are privileged to have their mother bless their firesides through so long a life time. She had been a life-long communicant and devoted worker in the Church of God, and departing leaves behind her the beautiful halo of a life of love and devotion, and all who knew her shall ever hold her in hallowed memory. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 o'clock at the' Line Stone Church of the Churches of God, near Montgomeryville and interment in the cemetery adjoining where the remains of her departed husband now rests. Funeral rites to be conducted by the local pastor, Rev. Woods.
