MRS. CATHERINE (LASHER) BOWSER, widow of Rev. Robert B. Bowser of West Pike, Indiana, Pa., passed away Friday, June 12, at 6:50 a.m. at her late home. Born January 20, 1864, in Armstrong County, Pa., a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Toy Lasher, she spent her early life in that county, 29 years in Robinson, Pa., and the past 36 years in Indiana. Mrs. Bowser was a member of the Church of God. Survived by two daughters; Mrs. G.C. Fee of Indiana; Mrs. T.M. Berkey of Bolivar; a son John A. Bowser passed away May 1, 1952; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren two brothers; Jeffery Lasher of Kittanning; Lewis Lasher of Adrian; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Stivason of Cleveland, Ohio. Friends will be received after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Robinson's 36 N. 7th street, Indiana, where services will be Conducted Sunday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. (DST). The Rev. R.W. Faus will officiate. Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
