Mrs. Catherine Bowser died at 6:50 o'clock this morning, June 12, 1953, at her home in West Pike, Indiana. She was a widow of the Late Rev. Robert B. Bowser who died in 1941. Mrs. Bowser was born Jan. 20, 1864, in Armstrong County, a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret (Toy) Lasher. For the past 36 years she has resided in Indiana. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. G.C. Fee of Indiana and Mrs. T.M. Berkey of Bolivar; two brothers, Jeffery Lasher of Kittanning and Lewis Lasher of Adrian; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Stivason of Cleveland; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Robinson funeral home, Indiana, after 7 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Rev. R.W. Faus officiating. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.

Born January 20, 1864, in Armstrong County, Pa., a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Toy Lasher, she spent her early life in that county, 29 years in Robinson, Pa., and the past 36 years in Indiana. Mrs. Bowser was a member of the Church of God. Survived by two daughters; Mrs. G.C. Fee of Indiana; Mrs. T.M. Berkey of Bolivar; a son John A. Bowser passed away May 1, 1952; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren two brothers; Jeffery Lasher of Kittanning; Lewis Lasher of Adrian; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Stivason of Cleveland, Ohio. Friends will be received after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Robinson's 36 N. 7th street, Indiana, where services will be Conducted Sunday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. (DST). The Rev. R.W. Faus will officiate. Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
