W. Harold Lasher, 79, of 219 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, died Tuesday, Jun 21 1983, at 1:30 a.m. in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1903, in Kittanning, the Son of J.J. and Millie (Rimer) Lasher. A lifelong resident of the community, he was a member and former elder of the Grace Presbyterian church in Kittanning and a member of the Upstreamers Bible Class. He was also a retired Manager of Joe's Army and navy Store in Kittanning. He is survived by his wife, Katharine (Bovard) Lasher; one son Charles B. of Knox; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Wales Kittanning; and one grandson, Fred Lasher of Alameda, Ca. Preceding him in death were two brothers and one sister. Lasher - Friends of W. Harold Lasher, 79, of 219 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, who died Tuesday, Jun 21 1983, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with his pastor Rev. Andrew Byers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Family desires memorials be given to the Grace Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Bauer.
