Mr. William "Jim" Hash, 69, a retired carpenter of 304 Lowell Avenue in Campbellsville, son of the late Mr. James Arthur Hash and Mrs.Emma Jane Nelson Hash, was born in Taylor County, July 1, 1904. He died at 3:15 a.m. Monday , April 8, 1974, at the Taylor County Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past six days. He had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Miss Oma Hedgespeth, December 24,1931. To this union one son was born. Harlan Ray Hash died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Oma Hedgespeth Hash of Campbellsville; four brothers, and one sister; Floyd Hash and Ruth Thompson, both of Campbellsville, Hershel Hash of Route # 3 Campbellsville , Clarence Hash of Louisville and Thomas Hash of Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday April 9, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev.Ken Vasey and Rev. Ken Foreman. Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers : William Hedgespeth, Junior Hedgespeth, James Hedgespeth, Gary Dale Hash, Mike Hash, and Floyd Thompson.
