Mrs. Ruth Hash Thompson, 60, of 404 Pitman Avenue in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. James Auther Hash and Mrs. Emma Jane Nelson Hash, was born in Taylor County, February 12, 1914. She died at 2:56 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, at the Taylor County Hospital. She had been a patient there for the past eight weeks . She had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Marvin Thompson November 10, 1930. To this union five daughters and three sons were born. Miss Wanda Thompson died in infancy. Besides her husband, Mr. Marvin Thompson, surviving are: Mrs. Lilburn (Pauline) Hedgespeth and Mr. James Thompson, both of Campbellsville, Mr. Donnie Thompson of Campbellsville, Route 1, Mrs. Charlie (Opal) Miller of Campbellsville, Route 4, Mr. Floyd Thompson of Campbellsville, Route 6, Mrs. Ronnie (Judy) Shuffett of Greensburg, Route 1, and Mrs. W. D. (Ann) Strader of Greensburg, Route 5; ten grandchildren and four brothers, Mr. Floyd Hash of Campbellsville, Mr. Hershel Hash of Campbellsville, Star Route, Mr. Clarence Hash of Louisville, Mr. Thomas Hash of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the Zion Separate Baptist Church by Rev. Robert Morris. Burial was in the church cemetery. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers: Gordon Hash, Gary Hash, Mike Hash, Ronnie DeWitt, Verlas Miller, and Glenn Davis
