Floyd G. Hash of Campbellsville, son of the late James Arthur Hash and Emma Jane Nelson Hash was born February 12, 1923 in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 3:56 P.M., Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army as a tank crewman and received The American Theater Ribbon, Purple Heart Medal, World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star and Good Conduct Medal. He was a retired educator in the Taylor County School System. He united in marriage to Frances Hedgespeth December 23, 1945 and she preceded him in death December 4, 2009. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, two grandsons and four great-grandchildren all of Campbellsville; three brothers-in law and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by ten brothers and one sister: William Franklin "Jim" Hash, Walter Earl Hash, Herbert Elmer Hash, Thomas Edison Hash, Carl Jackson Hash, Clarence Redmon Hash, Hershel A. Hash, Floyd Grinston Hash, Garnett Lee Hash, Claudie Hash and Ruth Erma Hash Thompson.
