Fannie was born the 4th of 14 children to Rev. Charles H. Wornom and Jane Elizabeth (Gilmour). She married Joseph Allard on 29 Aug 1861 in Warren County. To this union were born 6 children: Clayton, Blanche, Mertie, Chester, Mittie, and Pearl. Shortly after marriage, they moved to Story County, Iowa where Joseph farmed and the first three of their children were born. They returned to Warren County, Illinois in the early 1870's and spent the remainder of their lives there. After Joseph retired, they moved to Kirkwood and lived out their days there.
