Earl E. Blubaugh, 59, Waynesboro R D 1, died at 4:15 a.m. today at the Waynesboro Hospital. He had been admitted to the hospital June 18 and was critically ill since then.
He was born September 2, 1909 at Waynesboro R D 1, the son of Cleveland Provard and the late Eliza J. Mentzer. He was raised by Mrs. Margaret Shulley and Bruce B. Blubaugh, cousins. He was employed at the
Landis Tool Company as a machine operator until 1946, when he went to work at the Hess Manufacturing Co.,
Quincy, where he was employed as a control shop inspector until his death.
He is survived by his four sons Earl E , Waynesboro, Norman L. , Greencastle, Richard U. and Tony A , both at
home, and three grandchildren.
Also, the following half brothers and sisters Robert, Ray, Lloyd and Gerald Provard, all of Waynesboro R D 1, Donald Provard, Mont Alto, Mrs Rosalie Beeler, Waynesboro, R D 3, Mrs. Dorothea Verdier, Fayetteville R. D 2, Mrs. Sylvia Bumbaugh, Fayetteville R D 2.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m in the Grove Funeral Home , with the Rev. Donald Bender officiating.
Interment will be made in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
