Rosalie P. (Provard) Beeler, 85, a guest of Falling Spring Nursing Home Chambersburg and of 5500 Lincoln Way East Lot 32 Fayetteville, PA died at 12:40 A.M. Friday December 20, 2002 in the nursing home.
Born September 6, 1917 in Quincy, PA she was the daughter of the late Cleveland G. and Clara B. (Wagaman) Provard. She lived her early life in the Fairview area and moved to Greencastle in 1934.
She and her husband, the late Samuel C. Beeler were married in 1934. They had lived in Shady Grove following their marriage until moving to their present address in 1985. Mr. Beeler died June 8, 1994. Mrs. Beeler entered the nursing home December 5, 2002.
Mrs. Beeler was a homemaker all of her adult life.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Candous Cohick and Denise Wolfe, both of Nashville, TN; two grandsons, Jody Beeler and Arnold Beeler, both of Chambersburg; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister Dorothea Verdier, Fayetteville; three brothers, Gerald Provard, Waynesboro, Donald Provard, Fayetteville, Lavern Provard, Waynesboro and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by one son Samuel O. Beeler; one sister, Sylvia Bumbaugh; two brothers, Ray Provard, Robert Provard.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday December 23, 2002 in the Green Hill Cemetery 953 S. Potomac St. Waynesboro with the Rev. John W. Shubert officiating.
