Mrs. Flora B. Guertin, 48, of 1 Brearey Avenue, died suddenly Monday evening.

She had resided in Sanford most of her life and had been employed in the drawing room of the former Goodall Sanford textile mills.

Mrs. Guertin was born at Shapleigh on May 14, 1916, daughter of David and Annie Durgin Beal.

Surviving are two sons, Robert of Sanford and Caroll, USMC, of Camp LeJeune, NC; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Dionne, Berwick; two brothers, Norman Beal of Springvale and Perley Beal of Goodwins Mills; six sisters, Mrs. Eva Gilpatrick, Mrs. Rosie Gillis, Miss Nina Beal, Mrs. Daisy Paquette and Mrs. Cora Swan of Sanford.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Hurd Funeral Home, 10 Winter Street, with the Rev. Robert M. Smith of the Sanford First Baptist Church officiating. Entombment is to be in Oakdale Cemetery.
