Mr. David Beal died at the Trull Hospital, Biddeford, on Saturday after a long illness at the age of 58.
He was a native of Shapleigh and had lived here for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Beal and nine children; two brothers, Morris of Newfield and Rufus of Shapleigh; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brenan of Portland, Mrs. Abbie Hill of Lyman, and Mrs. Flossie Abbott of Shapleigh.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock from his home on 14 Whitham Street, Springvale, Rev. C.W. Corey officiating. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb in Riverside cemetery.
