SPRINGVALE – Nina Beal, 94, formerly of 22 Witham Street, died Tuesday at Hillcrest Manor in Sanford after a long illness.
She was born April 3, 1901, in Shapleigh, a daughter of David and Annie Durgin Beal, and attended Shapleigh schools.
She was employed over the years by the former Goodall Sanford Textile Mills, Jagger Brothers and the former Allied Novelty Shoe Co., retiring in 1966.
Survivors include a sister, Daisy Paquette of Springvale, several nieces and nephews.
