Mrs. Lydia Bamesberger Dead

Mrs. Lydia Bamesberger, 527 South Commercial, died in the Newman Memorial County hospital at 7:21 o'clock Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue chapel. The Rev. G. Carol Gilbert, pastor of the United Brethren church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.

Mrs. Bamesberger, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Barthel, of Sebringville, Ont, Can., was born October 6, 1867, at Sebringville. She married Samuel Bamesberger in Emporia April 11, 1889. Mr. Bamesberger died September 14, 1947. Mrs. Bamesberger is survived by two sons, Frank A., of 1 Union and Harry B., of Kansas City, Mo. She also is survived by five brothers: the Rev. Benjamin Barthel, Denver, Colo.; the Rev. George Barthel, Waterloo, Ont., Can.; Gideon Barthel, 175 South Commercial Emporia; Henry S. Barthel, Elkhart, Texas, and Edward Barthel, Topeka.
