AMERICUS WOMAN DIES
Special to The Gazette:

Americus, June 1 — Mrs. John F. Bamesberger died at her home here at 4:45 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Bamesberger, whose maiden name was Ernestine Barthel, was born in Sebringville, Canada, June 19, 1861, and came to Americus with her parents in 1877. She also lived in Emporia and Valley Falls. She married John F. Bamesberger in 1886. The husband and one son, J. A. Bamesberger, survive. She also is survived by a grandson, Jerry Bamesberger; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Emmel, and Mrs. Lydia Bamesberger, Emporia; five- brothers, Gideon Barthel, Emporia; Henry Barthel, Palestine, Texas, Edwin Barthel, Atchison, Benjamin Barthel, Denver, Colo., and George Barthel, Ontario, Canada. Mrs. Bamesberger was a member of the Kansas Association of the Church of the New Jerusalem. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
