William Allen Miller, son of Daniel and Susan Ganger Miller was born near Wakarusa, Sept 17, 1864 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Susan Graybill April 11, 1947, at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 24 days. Death was due to infirmities of age.

He was united in marriage to Frances Myers, Dec 17, 1889. She preceded him in death Jan 31, 1937.

To this union were born 3 sons and 2 daughters. Two sons, John and Daniel, died in childhood.

He is survived by 1 son, Jonas Miller, of Wakarusa; 2 daughters, Laura Cripe, of near Wakarusa, and Susan Graybill, of near Foraker, and a foster son, Willard Beam, of Flora, Ind, 16 grandchildren, 18 grandchildren and 5 brothers, Jacob and Leander of near Wakarusa, Josiah and David of Goshen and Daniel of Camden, Ind.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alpha of Wakarusa, Joseph of California, and 1 sister, Mary Miller, of near Wakarusa.

He was a member of the Old Brethren German Baptist church 57 years. He was called to the ministry over 45 years ago, to which call he remained faithful until death.

The funeral was held Monday forenoon at the Old Order Yellow Creek church in charge of Lloyd Flora of Delphi, Ind, and Irvin Graybill of Ohio.
