On June 17, 1883, she was united in marriage to Henry C Miller, who preceded her in death, January 22, 1931.
To this union were born three children, two daughters and one son. One daughter, Leona, died in infancy.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs James Miller of near Nappanee and one son, Amzy Miller who resides on the home place, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, seven brothers, Josiah Miller of Goshen, Joseph of Long Beach, Calif, Jacob, Leander, William and David all of near Wakarusa and Daniel of Camden, Ind.
One brother, Alpha, preceded her in death about five months ago.
She united with the German Baptist church in her early life and lived a consistent christian life to the end.
Her health began to fail last November and gradually grew worse until the Lord called her home. When she saw her time was drawing nigh, she called for the elders of the church and was anointed with oil.
She suffered much the last few days of illness which she bore with patience and expressed a desire and willingness that the Lord would take her home to relieve her of the great pain.
She passed away peacefully which we hope our loss is her eternal gain.
She was a kind, affectionate mother, always concerned about the welfare of her family.
