Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Cathedral for Mrs. Agnes S. Aslin, 85, of 401 W. 2nd St. who died Saturday [June 19 1972] in a local nursing home.

Agnes S. Perkinson was born Oct. 30, 1885, at Beloit, Iowa. She was married to Fred C. Aslin on Jan. 9, 1906, at Larchwood, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1948. Before moving in Sioux Falls in 1923, she had lived at Davis and Nunda.

Survivors include two sons, DeLoss, Sioux Falls, and LaMonte, Reno, Nev.; five daughters, Mrs. Berniece Dravis, Big Stone City; Mrs. Geraldine Matcovick, Lynwood, Calif.; Mrs. Phyllis Johnson Atascadero Calif., Mrs. Verona O'Reily, Hillsboro, Ore., and Mrs. Donna Roberson Louisburg N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Art Jenkins, Seal Beach, calif.; two brothers, John Perkinson, Rowena, and Martin, Chicago; 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited by the Catholic Daughters of America at 7 p.m. Monday at the Barnett Funeral Home. A parish scripture service will follow at 7:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Office for the Dead at 8 p.m. (Argus-Leader, Sioux Falls, SD, June 21, 1972)
