1995 Iowa Census lists Louisa born in Cedar County.

Word was received in this city Sunday morning that Mrs. Geo. A. Castle of Larchwood, had passed away that morning [April 11, 1915] at the Mayo hospital at Rochester, Minn., where she had underwent an operation. For a number of years Mrs. Castle had suffered from an affection of the lungs and about eight weeks before her demise went to Rochester in hopes that the Mayo's could relieve her. They advised an operation, which was performed. She rallied nicely and became so well that her husband, who had been with her, returned home. Complications set in about a week before she died and another operation was necessary, from the effects of which she never rallied. Mr. Castle and their only child, Miss Marguerite, were summoned and were with her before the end came. When she submitted to the operations it was understood there was nothing serious about them and her death came as a great shock both to her relatives and friends.

Mrs. Castle was a devout Christian woman, being a member of the Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella of this city, and was well known here. She was greatly beloved by all who knew her.

The funeral was held at Larchwood yesterday forenoon and was attended by a large number of the ladies of the D. of I. and others from here.

Louisa Perkinson was born in Cedar valley, Cedar County, Iowa, January 5, 1875 and was at the time of her death 40 years, 3 months and 6 days of age. When a child she moved with her parents to Sibley IA., where the family remained but a short times. Afterwards the family removed to Beloit, living there some years and also for a short time in Sioux county. In 1892 her parents were conducting a hotel here and she met Geo. A. Castle, which meeting culminated in the attachment that brought about their marriage at Rock Valley on June 6, 1895 For a time after their marriage they continued to reside here and then went to the Black Hills, where they remained two years. Upon their return to this part of the country they lived at Fairview for a time and then returned to Larchwood, residing here continuously since that time, a period of 13 years. The union was blessed by one child only, a daughter, Marguerite, who was born at Fairview and will be 19 years of age in May. For the past three years, in company with her daughter, the deceased woman conducted the millinery store here. In addition to the sorrowing husband and heartbroken daughter, she is survived by the following relatives. Jas. Perkinson, Sr., her father, her mother having proceeded her to the grave 5 years ago; James, Henry, John and Martin, of this vicinity, brothers and Mrs. Wm Glenn of Montrose, Mrs. Jos. Castle, Mrs. R.M. Thompson and Mrs. A.W. Jenkins of this place and Mrs. F.C. Aslin of Davis, S.D. sisters. All were present at the funeral except the latter, who was unable to come on account of sickness. (Rock Rapids Review, Rock Rapids, IA, April 15, 1915)
