Katherine married Moses Foster Richardson on January 17, 1847 in Jasper County, MO. Moses was born January 8, 1813 in Kentucky. They moved to Texas around 1855 and built a log cabin twelve miles south of Weatherford. Moses and Katherine had eight children, all linked below except their first child, Nancy 05/21/1847 Jasper County, Missouri. After Katherine's death, Moses married Phama Miller Onstott, a cousin to Katherine and the widow of James Henry Coldiron. Moses died November 2, 1874 in Coryell County, TX and is buried in a small cemetery that is now a part of Fort Hood Military Reservation. Phama's first husband, James Henry Coldiron is buried near Katherine in the Blackwell Cemetery.
