Carry Harold Sampson, 67, of Arnoldsburg, died Saturday, Apr. 12, 2003, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.

He was born in Orma, the son of the late William and Gracie Jackson Sampson. He was an Army veteran, having been stationed in Germany in the late 1950's, and had been a foreman at Stalwirt Rubber, Bedford, Ohio. He had been a companion and caregiver to Ruth Dawson of Arnoldsburg for the past 10 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Rose Gibson of Grantsville; two sons, Rick and Bill Sampson, both of Arnoldsburg; 12 grand­children; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer Sampson of Spencer and Robert (Rob) Sampson of Arnoldsburg; and two sisters, Stella Tanner of Massillon, Ohio, and Lorene Stanley of Streetsboro, Ohio, He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, six brothers, and two sisters.

Service's were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Roger Carter officiating. Burial was in Orma United Methodist Church Cemetery.
