RUSSELL HOWARD SAMPSON


Russell Howard Sampson, 70, of Arnoldsburg, died Thurs­day, Jan. 30, 2003, at Charleston Area Medical Center.

He was the son of the late William R. and Gracie M. Jackson Sampson.

Surviving are three sons, Russell Lee Rogers of Massillon, Ohio, Dickie Lee Sampson of Elizabeth and Timothy Russell Sampson of Flint; one daughter, Melissa Jean Lane of Calhoun County; five grandchildren, Cody Joe Rogers, Ashely Anna Mary Sampson, Victoria Ann Sampson, Brandie Marie Sampson and Warren Scott Lane; two sisters, Stella Tanner of Massillon and Lerine Stanley of Ohio; two brothers, Robert and Harold Sampson, both of Arnoldsburg, arid Elmer Sampson of Spencer.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, George, Andy and Ross Sampson, and two sisters, Mary Hall and Lida Butler.

Private family service will be held at a later date. Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
