Robert served with the U.S. Army and received the Purple Heart during the Korean Conflict. He worked on the family farm all of his life.
He is survived by his sister, Loraine Stanley and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at the Orma M.E. Cemetery in Orma, WV.
