Mrs. Elizabeth Weiss, age 81, widow of Adam Weiss, 864 Weller Avenue, died of complications Saturday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock. Her husband died 20 years ago. She was born in Butler County, January 11, 1860, and lived here all her life. She was devoted to her family and church, was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, and belonged to all the societies, including The Poor Souls Society, which will hold rights at the funeral home Monday night at 8:30 o'clock. She leaves three sons, Carl, Edward, and Frank Weiss; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Hogan, Mrs. Frank Burkart, and Mrs. Louise Blount; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kelly and Mrs. Rose Weiss, all of Hamilton; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Wagner Funeral Home, 228 Heaton St. Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock followed by a Requiem High Mass at St. Ann's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Stephen cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening.
