Emma Marie Hogan, age 97, of 2640 Bobmeyer Rd., passed away in Mercy of Hamilton Tuesday at 5:40 a.m. She was born in Hamilton, the daughter of Adam and Elizabeth (Lagedrost) Weiss. She was a member of St. Veronica's Catholic Church. In 1906 in Hamilton she was married to William Hogan, Jr. and he preceded her in death in 1936. She is survived by four sons, Joseph Hogan, Bernard Hogan, Arthur Hogan, and William Hogan, all of Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Catherine) Jacquemin, and Mrs. Waldo (Mary Ann) Hornung, both of Hamilton; and thirty-six grandchildren and fifty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Loretta Sauer 1952 and a son, Charles Hogan in 1971. Prayers will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home Friday at 8:30 a.m. followed by Mass of the Christian Burial in St. Veronica's Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
