Adam Weiss, a retired farmer and truck gardener, died at 4 o’clock Monday afternoon at his home, 608 Franklin street, at the age of 63 years. He was born October 19, 1857, near Sevenmile and lived in the vicinity of Hamilton nearly his entire life. He retired 18 months ago owing to sickness and came to Hamilton. He is survived by his widow, six children, Carl, Edward and Frank Weiss, Mrs. William Hogan, Mrs. Frank Burkart and Miss Louise Weiss, 11 grandchildren, a brother Joseph Weiss, a half-brother Peter Dietsch, and many friends. Mr. Weiss was a member of St. Peter’s church and the Men’s Society of the congregation. The funeral will take place on Thursday morning at 8:30 o’clock at the house of mourning and at 9 o’clock in St. Peter’s church. Interment St. Stephen’s cemetery.
