John T. Lagedrost of the Venice Road, R.R No. 9, passed away in Mercy Hospital at 7:15 Monday morning after eight weeks at the institution where he had undergone two surgical operations. Mr. Lagedrost was born in Minster, Ohio, and at the time of his death was 61 years, 7 months and 23 days old. He is survived by his widow and six children, Nicholas, John, Lee, Paul, Mark and Irene Lagedrost, one brother and three sisters, Henry Lagedrost, Mrs. Adam Weiss, Mrs. Minnie Kelley, Mrs. Rose Weiss; also four grandchildren who have the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement. The funeral has been arranged to take place Thursday morning in St. Joseph's Church with interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery. Mr. Lagedrost has been following farming for many years and was well known as an industrious and good citizen of Butler County where he located twenty-four years ago.
