"Miss. Catherine Bridges Butler, 79, 237-3rd East, died Sunday, 6:15 p..m. at her home of natural causes.
Born July 13, 1880, Salt Lake City, a daughter of William L. and Jane R. MacDuff Butler. Was an artist and photography artist for Austin and Madsen Studios. Operated own studio for some time. Was active in this business for more than 50 years in Salt Lake City. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Had been active in dramatics in her younger years.
Survivors: three brothers, John M., Thomas E. and Joseph T. Butler, all of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. T.L. Mary E. Parker, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dora Openshaw, Sunnyvale, Ariz.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 3 p.m., 124-4th East, where friends may call Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services. Burial in Salt Lake City Cemetery."
