"Mary E. (Nellie) Parker, 75, 237-3rd East, died Thursday 10:35 p.m. in a Salt Lake rest home after a lingering illness.

Born Jan. 26, 1886, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William L. and Jane R. MacDuff Butler. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Married T.L. Parker in April of 1916, in Salt Lake City. He died July 19, 1961. Was associated with husband in the construction business in Salt Lake City and in the motel business in San Luis Obispo, Calif., 1942 to 1950. Returned to Salt Lake City in 1950 where she has since resided.

Survivors: son, Bruce Parker, San Luis Obispo; five grandchildren; three brothers, John M. Butler, Joseph T. Butler and Thomas E. Butler, all of Salt Lake City; sister, Mrs. Dora Openshaw, Sunnyvale, Ariz.

Funeral services Monday 1 p.m. at 124-4th East, where friends may call Sunday 6 until 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery."
