Mrs. Evelyn G. Heaton, 65, Gambier Route 1, died Sunday at 1:30 a.m. in Martin Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She had lived in Knox Co. 20 years, attended the First Church of God and was a member of Grace Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, at Geneva.

Mrs. Heaton is survived by her husband, Marvin; 4 daughters, Mrs. Pauline Phillips of Azle, Texas, Mrs. Barbara Gildersleeve, Jefferson, Mrs. Donna Gay Isenberg, Andover, and Mrs. Patty Laymon, Fresno; 2 sons, Marvin of Mount Vernon and Larry of Mansfield; 2 sisters, Mrs. Florence Louks, Bicknell, Ind., and Mrs. Fern Merrill, Frankfort, Ind.; 3 brothers, Christopher Bogan, Merrillville, Ind., Wesley Bogan, Hobart, Ind., and Elmer Bogan, Bicknell; 20 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the Flowers Funeral Home where the funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Joseph Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the heart fund.
