Wesley "Junior" Bogan, 69, of 958 E.South St., died at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11, 1983 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, after a lengthy illness

A seven-year Frankfort resident, Mr. Bogan lived in Hobart 35 years and was employed by a U. S. steel mill in Gary. A former elder at the Hobart Presbyterian Church, he was a member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church.

He was born May 12, 1914, in Boone County to Wesley and Bertha (Payne) Bogan. On June 27, 1936 he married Esther Rabanus, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons; Terry of Hobart and Greg of Carmel; a daughter, Rebecca Schegel of Jacksonville, Fl.; two sisters, Fern Merrill, of Frankfort and Florence Louks of Portage; a brother, Christopher of Clearwater, Fl., and six grandchildren.

Private graveside services are pending. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Geetingsville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Rooker officiating. Brown Funeral Hone, Rossville, is in charge of arrangements.
