He moved from Frankfort to Gary and in 1963 moved to West Lafayette. For seven years he worked for the Purdue University Grounds Dept. He was a veteran of W.W. ll and served in the South Pacific. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include: his wife, a son Randy Bogan who lives at home; three sisters, Florence Louks of Bicknell, Evelyn Heaton of Coshocton, Ohio and Fern Merrill of Frankfort; four brothers, Christopher Bogan of Gary, Wesley Jr. of Hobart, Fred of Carmel, and Elmer of Bicknell. One sister preceded him in death. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday from the Goodwin Funeral Home. Rev. George W. Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery in Kirklin. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 pm Sunday.
