Mabel Helen Toresdahl of Lafayette, Colo., died of natural causes on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, in Lafayette, CO at age 96. She was the daughter of Anton Gran and Hannah Larson Gran, born March 16, 1908, in Menno, S.D.

In 1928 she married Gust Bonander, who died in 1956. In 1958 she married Louis Winter, who died in 1970. In 1984 she married Osmund Toresdahl who died in 1999.

Mabel and Gust Bonander were motel owners in Bozeman for many years prior to Gust's death.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Strong of Lafayette, Colorado, and Hazel Hoffman of Kingston, Idaho; one brother, Morris Gran of Winner, SD.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Uerling; a son, Oscar Bonander; three sisters, Jeanette Berg, Alice Bonander, and Emma Aisenbrey; and six brothers, Albert Hjalmer Gran, Hjalmer Gran, Edward Gran, Lawrence Gran, Alvin Gran and Casper Gran.

Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church.
