CPL Leonard Granger Sr died on December 13, 1998 at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St Petersburg, FL. He was born on March 14, 1922 in Highgate, VT; the son of Oliva and Yvonne (Biladeau) Granger.

He was a former resident of Lebanon, NH before moving to Florida in 1981.

He served in the U S Army during World War II.

He married Stella Blish on April 28, 1948.

He was employed as a roofer by Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

He was a member of the VFW in Florida.

He was preceded in death by brother John in 1996 and brothers Albert and Maurice in World War II.

He is survived by wife, sons Leonard Jr of Paxton, IL and Richard of Deerfield, NH; brother Paul of Salem, OR; five sisters Mary Jane Couture of Newport, Gabrielle Trepanier of Claremont, Delores Halverson of Westford, MA, Rita Gee of Philomath, OR, and Hazel Petrin of Newport; one granddaughter, two grandsons, one great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
