Armande Jerard died at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH on March 9, 1983.

She was born in Sainte Armande, Quebec, Canada on March 17, 1910; the daughter of Joseph Ovila and Yvonne (Bilodeau) Granger.

She was a resident of Claremont most of her life, moving to Cornish, NH in 1956.

She retired from Dartmouth Woolen Mill in 1973 where she worked as a finish tender in the card department. She was a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne Society.

She married Maurice Jerard on September 10, 1938 in Claremont.

She was preceded in death by brothers Albert and Maurice who were both killed in World War II.

She is survived by her husband; two sons Paul of Virginia Beach, VA and Leo of Derry, NH; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers John Granger of Newport, NH, Leonard Granger of St Petersburg, FL, and Paul Granger of Salem, OR; seven sisters Gabrielle Trepanier and Cecile Asanowicz both of Claremont, Hazel Petrin and Mary Jane Couture both of Newport, Delores Halversen of Westford, MA, Rita Gee of Salem, OR, and Betty Potts of Seattle, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
