Yvonne Granger passed away at the Newport Hospital in Newport, NH on May 2, 1962. She was born in Bedford, Quebec, Canada on June 30, 1887; the daughter of Medard and Josephine (Methe) Bilodeau and had lived in Newport for many years.

She married Joseph Oliva Granger on May 28, 1907 in Saint Sebastian, Quebec, Canada who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by sons Albert and Maurice, both killed in World War II.

She is survived by sons John Granger of Newport, NH, Paul Granger of Salem, OR and Leonard Granger of Lebanon, NH; daughters Armande Jerard, Gabrielle Trepanier and Cecile Asanowicz all of Claremont, Beatrice Potts of San Juan Capistrano, CA, Mary Jean Couture of Fitchburg, MA, Delores French of Westport, MA, Hazel Petrin of Newport, NH, and Rita Gee of Philomath, OR; thirty one grandchildren; brother Philip Bilodeau of Burlington, VT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial is in St Patrick's Cemetery.
