Rites Scheduled For Mrs. Ellison
CROSBYTON (Special) - Mrs. Clara Gertrude Ellison, 77, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Church of Christ, with Bill Bryant, minister, assisted by J.R. Woody, Ralls, officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.

A native of Erath County, Mrs. Ellison moved to the Smith Ward community south of Crosbyton in 1922 and moved into Crosbyton in 1945.

Survivors include five sons, Durard Ellison, Ernest Ellison, and Lonnie Ellison, all of Crosbyton; Homer Ellison, Ralls, and R.C. Ellison Jr., New Deal; four daughters, Mrs. Carl Holcomb and Mrs. W. W. Robertson, both of Crosbyton, Mrs. D.K. Stevens, Ralls and Mrs. Raymond Tillson, Amarillo; six sisters, Mrs. Addie Shoemaker, Monahans, Mrs. Olivia Cox, Stephenville, Mrs. W.S. Creager, Levelland, Mrs. J.K. Stegall, Crosbyton, Mrs. John Little, Rotan, and Mrs. Dewey Robertson, Fort Worth; a brother, J.I. Brasell, Lubbock; 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
