Funeral Service Held Yesterday and Burial Is Made Here

"Grandma" Brasell, 80, died at the family home in the Smith community at 9:20 p.m., Nov. 21. Funeral services were held at the church at Smith at 2:30 o'clock yesterday, with Rev. Flores, of Ralls conducting the funeral service. She was buried in the Crosbyton Cemetery.

Mrs. Brasell is survived by ten children, eight daughters and two sons. The daughters; Mrs. Olivia Cox, Ranger; Mrs. Addie Shoemaker, Breckenridge; Mrs. Lydia Creager, Crosbyton; Mrs. Gertie Ellison, Crosbyton; Mrs. Bulah Little, Farmers; Mrs. Nora Stegall, Fairview; Mrs. Cordie Roberson, Dublin; Mrs. Lizzie Lightsey, Henderson. The sons are H. F. Brasell of Smith community and J. I. Brasell of Owens. All were present at the funeral except Mrs. Lightsey. A brother J. L. Langston of Dallas, was present for the funeral services.
