Miss Hattie Adamson, aged 57 years, of Waynesburg, R.D. 1,near Lippencott, died at 7 a.m. Sunday, July 30, 1950, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
Miss Adamson was born July 22, 1893, in Center Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late J. E. and Elizabeth Hoge Adamson. Her father served as sheriff of Greene County.
She had spent all her life in the County and was a member of the First Christian Church, of Waynesburg.
Surviving are three sister, Miss Cecelia Adamson, at home; Mrs Marie Sargent, of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Cinderella Staggers, of Bridgeville, and four brothers, Homer and Alva Adamson, both of Waynesburg, R.D. 6; Arthur Adamson, at home, and Kenneth Adamson, of Detroit.

Funeral services for Miss Hattie Adamson of Waynesburg, P.A. D. 1. who died Sunday morning, July 30, 1950, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, at her late home with the Rev. Charles R. Johnson of Mather officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the Church Funeral Home, 97 North Maiden street, Waynesburg, until 4 p.m. Monday, and after 7 p.m. at her late home, George I. Church, funeral director
