Homer H. Adamson, 57, died in Greene County Memorial Hospital at 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 1955, following a long illness. His home was near Lippencott, Waynesburg R. D. 1, He was a prominent farmer and stockman.

Born in Center Township, son of the late J. E. and Elizabeth Hoge Adamson, he spent his life in his native Greene County, He is survived by his wife, Fern Bradbury Adamson and the following children: Lloyd A. of Waynesburg, Alvin, Glenn E., Florence, Ralph, Joy, Shirley, Doris and Carol, all at home. A grandson, Glenn E. Jr., also is living and these brothers and sisters:

Cecelia Adamson of Waynesburg R. D. 1, Mrs. Marie Sargent of Detroit, Mrs. Cinderella Staggers of Cambridge, Ohio, Alva W., and Joshua of Waynesburg R. D. 1, and Kenneth of Detroit. One sister is dead.

Deceased had been affiliated with the Lippencott Baptist Church.

Friends will be received at the home of Miss Cecelia Adamson, Waynesburg R. D. 1 after 3 today to pay honor to the late Homer H. Adamson, county stockman and farmer, who died at Greene County Memorial Hospital March 1, 1955 after a long illness. Funeral services will be held in the sister's home at 2 p.m. Friday, March *, with the Rev. Hugh Eiland officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Park with Church Funeral Service in charge.
